Well,I've just seen that Diego Maradona has just died.Personally,I'm not shedding any tears for him.No doubt he was a fantastic football player when he put his mind to it,but he was also a blatant, cheating bastard.Who could ever forget his deliberate handball against England in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. To his dying day,he refused to apologise for what he did.Everybody rants and raves abour his second solo goal he scored in that game, but he knew he had cheated, and the whole Argentina side must have hardly believed their luck. The incompetent officials for that game certainly helped their cause. The bastards won the trophy too,but it was a shameful win.I even read the Tunisian referee in the match, added his voice to sing Maradona's praises.
What a tosser.:(
Not only that, but he was involved with drugs, sex workers and had mafia connections.Ii is sad a human being has died, but Maradona certainly didn't act like a decent one.No doubt he'll always have his fans, but I won't remember him fondly.
In fact,good riddance,you cheating bastard!!
Argentina reached the 1990 Final held in Italy, but the whole team still played their dirty, cheating gamr. However, the Germans were well prepared for this I was so pleased to see the Germans beat them, and fully enjoyed seeing how upset Maradona was at the end.Hahaha.
Cheating bastards.
I won't miss him.

Moving to more genuine sadness,I'm not going to bother ranting about Newcastle's recent 2-0 loss to a London football club I utterly despise.
A game better forgotton.
