Gene Hackman in Mississipi Burning.

I've never watched this film completely, only little bits of it.To me,it shows the worst of people, who are guilty of racist hatred, vicious bullying and murder.

The film is actually based on real events, back in the 60's in the Deep South of America (obviously Mississipi) on where civil rights people lost their lives, and all they tried to do was get a decent bond going between people:no matter what the colour of their skin.

Gene Hackman performed flawlessly here, playing the investigating F.B.I. agent with William Dafoe as his partner.

He certainly doesn't suffer fools glady, and he knows what's going on,especially when he and Dafoe encounter ignorance and hostility from the local police, with fear from the locals too.Gene's character:Anderson, isn't intimidated by the extreme threats of violence and bullying,as he makes those responsible deeply regret crossing him.

His southern accent is great to listen too.

Unfortunately, the full video I chose for this scene didn't quite come out,so will have to try another way.
