Our Tyne Bridge is the pride of our city,but currently it's in a bad way.Funding has been requested,although it's been argued Newcastle City Council should foot the bill,instead of wasting our council tax on other meaningless stuff.
I really do hope the money can be raised,especially with the bridge's centenary next year.
Sadly,the funding request was refused,so I'm not sure what's going to happen.I just hope they're not going to take it away from us.
Think I might have driven over that back in the day.
