Well,after an overall,somewhat disappointing season,Newcastle lost their final league game of the season,going down 3-1 at home to the champions:Liverpool.
I was really hoping Newcastle would pull it off,and it looked as if they would succeed,going 1-0 up in the first 30 seconds.
Sadly,it wasn't to be.Their opponents had too much class,and easily won the game.
They may have won the title,but a lot of it was down to blatant cheating,especially from their notorious Egyptian forward:Sulah.What a cheating bastard he is.I used to really enjoy watching the Liverpool side in the 70's and 80's,when they dominated Europe.Aside from their keeper at the time:Grobellar and a couple of other minor exceptions,I thought the whole team worked very hard for their success.Not like the current team.
Still,loyal to the bitter end.Let's hope next season is much better than this one.
