More Footy Rants!

Well,my beloved home football team:Newcastle United,are playing against a side I utterly despise this afternoon.And to be honest,I don't have any hope Newcastle will win that match.Their opponents may not be the bullying and intimidating side they once were,which bought them richly,undeserved success.

Now of course,I do hope miracles happen,and Newcastle will play like world beaters and blow them away,but it doesn't seem likely.I'll keep my fingers crossed,as Newcastle desperately need a win today.

Well,now it's time for my footy rant.

I watched highlights of the Liverpool v Leicester game yesterday,and sadly,there was the usual cheating going on.

Liverpool won the game 2-1 at Anfield,which kept their 100% home record going,but it was a late penalty that infuriated me and Leicester.

Marne of Liverpool appeared to fall theatrically in the penalty area,and the ref awarded it.Needless to say,Liverpool scored from it and they won the match.This resulted in a flare up at the end of the game,and the more I looked at the foul,the more convinced I am,Marne made a total meal of it.

Again,same old story:Cheating is now accepted as part of the game.

The stupid pricks...
