More Footy Thoughts.

 Go Roma.

Personally,I can't see it happening, but I hope they can win tonight.

As expected,it wasn't to be.When Roma went 2-1 up at half-time,I was really hoping they could do it.Sadly, the final result was bitterly disappointing to me.

More Footy Thoughts.

What a brilliant point thar was earned at Anfield.Dreaded the worst when they took the lead, but Newcastle never gave up fighting and I thought they fully deserved that point.

Not Good..

Sadly,my negativity has hit me again.Feeling really down, hurt and angry at a lot of people.

Sometimes, the lonely life I lead suits me,having been on the recieving end from the bad guys over the years.

Not good at all...

More Footy Thoughts.

Well, that European Super League idea has certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons, and it's a disgraceful idea. How dare the likes of those six 'top' clubs agree to the idea.Personally,I think that lot should be severely punished for doing something utterly despicable as this.

Sadly though, money talks. It's arrogance beyond contempt.I just hope there's an effective counter-attack in the making.

More Footy Thoughts.

A grear win over West Ham today, although the extended injury time didn't help my nerves.

Even so,it's another, priceless three points to avoid the drop. The upcoming match against Liverpool is certainly ominous,so today's victory could be so vital.

Another rare treat, when I can enjoy watching MOTD.

More Footy Thoughts.

Well, what a priceless win that could turn out to be.A brilliant 2-1 away win at Burnley, still gives them a chance to avoid the drop.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Onto other stuff,I just wanted to make a few observations about VAR-Video Assist-Referee.I can still remember a lot of people moaning after a game was lost and they were highly insistent for its use.In the end, they got their way,but personally I don't like it,and it has proved to be a mixed bag.

In the 70's when I first started to watch football,if there was a bad decision on the ref or the linesman's part that cost you the game, you just had to lump it.It was done, and there was nothing you could do about it.

Now in today's game,I've watched VAR at work, and whilst it has proved helpful in some areas,I still think it slows the game down and unforgivably too.I've seen blokes moan like mad just because they didn't get the ball their way:Be it a throw-in,goal-kick and are screaming at the officials to use the VAR.

What a bunch of tossers.

And speaking of tossers,I was extremely dissppointed to see Spurs lose to their attogant, obnoxious oppinents.Song for Spurs blatantly cheated, successfully

denying their firzt goal.Alas:they still lost.

Yes,I still utterly drspise that lot to this day

Looking back at the European games this week,I was very pleased to see Roma win,and I really hope they can beat their next opponents. It's so disappointing to see how a lot of teams behave.I can still remember the likes of Liverpool,Villa,Forest and Ipswich playing in the then UEFA Cup.All these English teams played really well and fairly. It was the European teams who played shamefully-not all of them of course-but it still angers me how much of today's game is ruined by those kind of shameful tactics, and now it's fully spread to the English game.

More Footy Thoughts

Well,a 2-2 draw with Spurs today, but the vital win needed didn't come.

Juat got to hope that so called club I utterly despise will destroy Brighton tonight.
