Rest in Peace Glenn Roeder.

Very sad to hear of Glenn Roeder's passing. He was a hugely popular player here at Newcastle United.

A brave, fiercely committed defender and always wore his heart on his sleeve.

I will miss him.Rest in Peace,Glenn.

More Footy Thoughts.

Well, despite some positive performances from certain members of the team, last night's 1-1 draw with Wolves was another golden opportunity wasted.

Not good at all and totally unacceptable.

More Footy Thoughts.

Well as expected,Newcastle were firmly beat 3-1

last night by a team I still utterly despise.

It wasn't funny either,to see Steve Bruce seemingly share a joke with their manager-who I also utterly despise for his jubilant, clenched fist celebrations every time we get beat.Up yours

Salsjkar.Tosser.And no doubt,Bruce still has a strong place for that club when he played for them. It's never a good idea for a manager to play strictly defensive, especially when Bruce was one.

Nope,it looks like relegation is now firmly on the cards.:(

Still, the Newcastle United haters will be fully enjoying themselves.Bastards!!

Loyal to the bitter end.

Down with man utd!!(yes, small letters are deliberate)

Update.

Nothing worse when I check out the Deviant Art website, when I see blokes getting into trouble.

A much and highly utterly despised pet hate.

Yuk..

Onto better news, the story is now in progress, and I'll be delighted to post the pages here.

More Footy Thoughts

The very best of luck to RB Leipzig against Liverpool tonight.

Up yours Sullah, yoi cheating diving tosser.

So much for that hope.Up yours Sullah,Klopp and Liverpool.Arrogant, cheating and intimidating bastards. At least the Liverpool of the 70's and 80's didn't cheat.

Still,I enjoyed the Porto v Juventus match. It was good to see Ronaldo on the losing side.Like Sullah of Liverpool,he's also a cheating, diving bastard.Juventus actually, deserved to losr. They just didn't play well at all,and I fully enjoyed seeing them do so.

Totti.

Just another quick break from the damsels,as I just want to say a few words about Francesco Totti.

Totti played for AS Roma throughout his whole playing career, famously turning down a highly lucrative move to Spanish giants:Real Madrid. He shiwed total, impeccable loyalty to his home town and to this day,is still very well respected.

I always enjoyed watching him play for Roma, especially when Football Italia used to be on Channel 4 on Sunday afternoons.Sadly, most of the games were boring, but that didn't really bother me.

His farewell speech after his final game against Genoa made me very sad,as I knew I would never see him play again.

A great player and a great bloke.I still miss him to this day.

More Footy Thoughts.

Well, what a massive win that was for Newcastle against Southampton. For long periods in the second-half,I really thought Newcastle were going to lose the match.

Fortunately,,they didn't,but it was so bloody close.

Christopher Plummer.RIP

Very sad to hear of Christopher Plummer's passing today at 91.He was one of my favourite actors.

I didn't like every film Christopher did,but he was a tremendous actor.I loved him in the film:Triple Cross, where he played real life, double agent spy Eddie Chapman.Chapman fooled the Germans completely, who were utterly convinced he was one of their best agents working against Britain.Christopher played the part brilliantly.

Anyway,it's another sad loss, but Rest  in Peace Christopher.

More Footy Thoughts.

Well, that home defeat to Palace wasn't enjoyable.I thought Newcastle played really well in parts, but they were out-classed and out-fought.

Up yours Hodgson.:(

The Superman films.

I'm still a huge fan of Superman, and for the most part, have loved watching the first three fulms with the late Christopher Reeve playing Kal-El.

The first one in 1978 blew me away.I absolutely loved it,especially the first 20 minutes of it with the destruction of Krypton sequence.I still enjoy watching it to this day.

The film was fully enjoyable, plenty of laughs, great action sequences with just the right amount of sadness in it.The only slight gripe I had with the films, was there was never any scenes for any of the pretty actresses to perform a bound and gagged scene.Nothing in the first three films at all.I was very disappointed at that.

Now,we have Superman and Lois, which is the latest offering on TV.I've watched the trailer for it,and it looks as if the writers have made it into a drama. The Man of Steel looks as if he's a family man with Lois as his wife, and the trailer gives a strong indication that his character has perhaps changed. He has to deal with family issues, problem children and who knows what else?

Of course,I'll give it a go,hoping there's still going to be plenty of action, and hopefully, many full treatment scenes for more pretty actresses to perform being bound and gagged.I still fondly remember the tv shows with the late George Reeves in the 50's and more recently:Dean Cain in the 90's tv series. Both those shows had plenty of scenes to enjoy.I did find it irritating to see the actors performing now and again in them.Despite that, both shows are still a big miss to me.

Anyway,we shall see.
